BİLGEİŞ Project Team has completed the first phase of the stakeholder visits in Eskişehir, on 29 April 2016. In the context, BİLGEİŞ Team firstly came together with the heads of Eskişehir Chamber of Commerce, Anatolian University and Osmangazi University. Çağatay Yılmaz from Project Office, Hakkı Sarpkaya from R&D Department and Burhan Toksan from Member Relations welcomed BİLGEİŞ Team in ECC. BİLGEİŞ Team presented the Project in detail and obtained information about leading sectors and SME’s in Eskişehir. Next visit was to Anatolian University; considered as one of the most crucial potential supporters of the Project. BİLGEİŞ Team got together with Prof. Dr. Yaşar Hoşcan, Head of Computer Sciences Research and Application Center of Anatolian University, Prof. Dr. Ali Ekrem Özkul, Prof. Dr. Bülent Günsoy and Asst. Dr. Nihan Çabuk from Vocational Qualification Institute. Project Team is informed about successful projects and related implementations of Anadolu University. Moreover, an exchange of ideas on how to improve the business and university link in the provinces has been covered in the context of the visit. The last part of the visits was to Osmangazi University Continuing Education Centre. The meeting was conducted with the participation of Hüseyin Aydın and Ömür Aşıkoğlu; Directors of Continuing Education Centre. The trainings which will be given to SME’s, online education system and benefits to be provided with this project are discussed within this meeting.
